Stockholm, Sweden

Then we visited Oummi, which I had heard and seen a great deal about online. Have seen a lot about this on Youtube as I follow David Kringlund and Roy Nader channels and Jimmie Hanna on Istagram who works there and makes exciting drinks.

Oummi’s own words read as follows:

Oummi is a concept created with traditions where modern thoughts have been added.

To become the best modern Lebanese restaurant requires experience, quality and service.

We believe that to succeed you must be a leader, not a follower.

When you look at their menu, there are 3 different tasting menus. 1. The Oummi 2. The Vegetarian 3. The Signature. Of course, they have different meze to choose from if you are not interested in a tasting menu. There are hot dishes with such as meat, chicken and fish.

We chose The Signature tasting menu and it consisted of 10 different meze plates. 1. Seasonal Hummus 2, Seasonal Labne 3. Oummi style Kebbe 4. Spicy shrimp 5. Burrata bel zatar 6. Mhamara Bel Jouz 7. Cheese rolls 8. Sweet Halloumi 9. Crispy Chicken 10. Fattouch. These dishes were more than enough to fill you up. There is an option with a tasting menu + meat or fish after, but you can’t bear that. You can simply visit them none and try a main dish.

Another thing that is interesting about this place is their own drinks such as Oummi Martini and Pisa.

I thought this place was one of the better places I have eaten Lebanese food and I can imagine visiting this place again to eat something different or why not the same menu again. The staff were very nice and service minded and the service was very good. We had a very nice dinner at this restaurant.
