Ingredients

  • 640g pork loin

Marinade

  • 1 tablespoon pressed garlic
  • ½ tbsp ground ginger
  • 1½ tbsp oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tbsp rice wine
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon, ground
  • ½ teaspoon star anise, ground
  • ½ teaspoon fennel, ground
  • 3 cloves, whole

Glaze

 

  • 1½ tbsp honey
    ½ tbsp oil
    1 tsp sesame oil

Do this

1. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl. Place the skinless meat in the marinade in a bag. put in the fridge overnight.

2, Preheat the oven to 130 degrees. Put the meat in an oven dish together with the marinade. Cover the mold with aluminum foil and place in the oven for 1½ – 2 hours. Take the mold out of the oven. Mix all the ingredients for the glaze. Place the meat on the grill and brush with glaze. Raise the heat to 225 degrees. Fry the meat until it is tender and shiny and just starting to blacken around the edges. Remove the meat and let it rest for 20 minutes
